The name ‘Avdhut Products’ presents an incessant journey of going around the local farms, relating with the local’s plight, and patronizing local yields without ever leaving the paternal home, the neighborhood, the people, and one’s own personality. It is a way paved by three Generations of the Avdhoot family, learning from the older one and stepping ahead with the younger one for the well-being of the whole village, and the ones whose future was left to fate.

The Classic story of the origin of this homely brand Avdhut Products Began With the Vision of a far-sighted man, its Founder ‘Avdhut Atmaram Pendse’.
In the 1960s when India was struggling with food shortages, some of the rural districts of Maharashtra had different crises to deal with. It was the spoilage of excess Mango produced from the local farms leading to huge losses and a tense environment in the region.

In 1962 ‘Avdhut Atmaram Pendse’, a man with years of wisdom and field knowledge pondering over and over, came up with an Idea that had the potential to change the whole economic picture of the local farms and bring sunshine to nearby villages as well.

This is the story of the birth of a Solution which took persistent years of efforts of a Man to bring his people out of their gloomy shell and start with a life-saving journey.

The Brand Avdhut Products is an intention rooted deeply in the preservation of locally produced excess mangoes. It began with the simple desire to convert the fruit into forms that could be stored for months and enjoyed deliciously for the whole year without worrying about the seasonal availability, quality, and taste. Located in the branches of rural India – Raigarh, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts in the Konkan region of Maharashtra, Avdhut Products stands for the birth of Canned food Products in the locality.

Avdhut Atmaram Pendse opened the first and oldest manufacturing unit of Mango Canning in the region in 1962. Extracting the pulp from the mango and preserving it in airtight cans for later use was the Phenomenal answer to all the problems. He introduced the concept to his locality which was accepted and worked further upon by him and his people. The essence of modernity and research was added to the brand in 1977 when his son Anil Avdhut Pendse who completed his B.Sc. from SP College, Pune, joined, taking the family legacy ahead.
Joining hands with local mango farmers, obtaining the best of produce, and extracting the pulp from them to preserve and convert it into delectable forms was the whole plan.

Growing from a completely manual unit with no electricity to an automated one, Avdhut Products has expanded exponentially.

A sapling planted by two generations, ‘Avdhut Products’ started blooming in vivid colors as it was entrusted in the hands of the third generation of the family. Aditya Avdhut Pendse, the grandson of Avdhut Atmaram Pendse and a Graduate in Science, assumed the responsibility of nourishing the company in 2013 with his insightful and time-proven scientific ideas.

Providing income and business to local farmers in the region has led to the development and growth of the whole community. Training the workers to become masters of their destiny has also been a specialty of our Brand as many of our past employees have started their own thriving production units.

We specialize in Aam Papad, Amba Wadi – A wholesome Mango Sweet, Aam Murabba, Mango Syrup, Amla Candy, Amla Murabba, Amla Syrup, and Mirchi Thecha.

To provide a variety and better options to our customers, being creative with our years of wisdom, we are looking forward to expanding our product range to fruits like Pineapple and Kokum.
